Former New England Patriots tight end Daniel Fells worked out for the Seattle Seahawks today, according to a league source.
Fells was cut by the Patriots during the final major roster cutdown after signing a three-year contract with them last year.
Fells, 29, has 92 career receptions for 1,086 yards and eight touchdowns.
Fells has also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams and Denver Broncos.
The 6-foot-4, 272-pounder played collegiately at University of California-Davis.
