Penn State linebacker has upcoming visits with Giants, Steelers Aaron Wilson
Penn State linebacker Sean Lee is gaining ground in NFL circles, rising on draft boards.
According to a league source, Lee is expected to be drafted somewhere between the 25th and 45th overall picks.
Lee has visited the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source close to the program with knowledge of the situation.
Per our source, he has upcoming visits with the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Lee has recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament that sidelined him for the entire 2008 season.
At the NFL scouting combine, Lee ran the 40-yard dash in 4.71 seconds and posted a 37 1/2 inch vertical leap and bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times with a 10-0 broad jump.
At his campus Pro Day workout, Lee improved his 40-yard dash time to 4.60 seconds.
Instinctive, athletic and productive, Lee recorded 325 career tackles, 29 1/2 tackles for losses, 11 sacks, 17 pass deflections and three interceptions.
Last season, Lee registered 86 tackles, 11 for losses, two sacks and one interception.
The 6-foot-2, 236-pounder is a three-year starter who was a team captain for the Nittany Lions.
