According to sources close to the National Football Post, Mike Shanahan is still the favorite to take over as the head coach of the Washington Redskins, and he is bringing some coaches with him.
As our own Michael Lombardi wrote this morning, a high-ranking NFL official said that Shanahan would bring his son Kyle, who is currently the offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans, and former Denver defensive coordinator Bob Slowik--whose role has yet to be determined--to Washington, where he is expected to replace Jim Zorn.
The Redskins, according to reports, have already started to interview head coaching candidates.
