Veteran linemen to be released Aaron Wilson
The Pittsburgh Steelers plan to release offensive linemen Justin Hartwig and Kraig Urbik, according to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation.
Hartwig was supplanted as the Steelers' starting center by rookie first-round draft pick Maurkice Pouncey.
The veteran lineman has previously played for the Tennessee Titans and the Carolina Panthers.
Hartwig, 31, signed a two-year contract with the Steelers in 2008.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder has started 79 career games.
The Steelers are also expected to place offensive lineman Kyle Jolly on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
