Source: Stevenson Sylvester, Jason Williams, Doug Hogue worked out for Lions
Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Stevenson Sylvester worked out for the Detroit Lions today, according to a league source.
The Lions also worked out former Carolina Panthers linebackers Jason Williams and Doug Hogue, according to sources.
Hogue is a former Lions fifth-round draft pick from Syracuse. Williams is a former Dallas Cowboys third-round draft pick who has also played for Carolina.
Sylvester, 25, was cut by the Steelers during the preseason.
A former Steelers fifth-round draft pick from Utah, where he was an all-conference selection, Sylvester is a speedy 6-foot-2, 230-pounder.
