The Houston Texans have agreed to a two-year contract with ormer Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Will Yeatman, according to a league source.
Yeatman visited the Texans and Minnesota Vikings last week after previously meeting with the New York Jets.
He's slated to compete for a swing tackle position.
Yeatman tore his anterior cruciate ligament last November and was placed on injured reserve. He's expected to be ready for training camp after making steady progress in his rehabilitation from the knee injury.
Yeatman is an athletic converted tight end.
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound former University of Maryland player played in eight games last season season.
Yeatman played lacrosse and football in college. He began his career at Notre Dame before transferring to Maryland.
He's played in 15 career games with two starts in three NFL seasons.
