Source: Travis LaBoy suspended

Veteran free agent defensive end Travis LaBoy probably won't be playing for an NFL team this season.

According to a league source, LaBoy has been suspended for four games by the league office.

LaBoy can be siged by any team, but obviously won't be because they would have to create a roster spot for him by cutting a player.

LaBoy was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the secound round of the 2004 NFL draft after playing at Hawaii.

As a rookie, he recorded 3 1/2 sacks and recovered a fumble.

The Cardinals signed him to a five-year, $22 million contract that included $7.5 million in guaranteed money last year.

After posting four sacks in the first four games last season, LaBoy was sidelined by a torn biceps that required surgery. He was cut by the Cardinals in April.
