University of Michigan punter Zoltan Mesko conducted a private workout for the Atlanta Falcons today, according to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation.

And he's set to audition for the New England Patriots' special teams coach Scotty O'Brien on Friday, per our source.

Mesko has previously worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs last week.

The Ray Guy Award finalist is a two-time All-Big Ten selection.

The second-team All-American selection averaged a school-record 44.9 yards last season with 17 over 50 yards, 18 fair-caught, three touchbacks and 15 downed inside the 20-yard line.

Mesko punted in the Senior Bowl for the North squad.

The athletic 6-foot-5, 240-pounder bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times at the NFL scouting combine.
