Sources: Boston College RB Andre Williams drawing interest from Patriots, Browns, Steelers Jets

Boston College running back Andre Williams has drawn the most interest from the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets, according to league sources.

The punishing Doak Walker Award winner set the Boston College single-season record with 2,177 rushing yards last season. He was a consensus All-American and rushed for 18 touchdowns last season.

Williams is a 5-foot-11, 230-pounder who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.54 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout, improving upon his 4.56 clocking at the NFL scouting combine. At the combine, he had a 38-inch vertical leap and a 10-5 broad jump.

He caught 10 career pases for 60 yards as he was primarily utilized as a rushing threat, but caugh the ball smoothly at his Pro Day.

Wiliams has drawn second-round to third-round grades.
