The Pittsburgh Steelers have elected to match the offer sheet in order to retain wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
Sanders had signed an offer with the New England Patriots for $2.5 million for one season last week.
But agent Jordan Woy, who represents Sanders, tweeted that the Steelers have opted to match the deal to retain the receiver.
