Steelers running back Rainey arrested
Former Gator charged with battery in Florida. Terry McCormick
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Chris Rainey has been charged with battery in Gainesville, Fla., according to the Miami Herald.
Rainey, a former University of Florida player, is alleged to have slapped his girlfriend in the face over an argument regarding a cell phone.
He faces a first-degree misdemeanor over the matter.
