Wide receiver inks three-year, $2 million deal Aaron Wilson
Pittsburgh Steelers third-round wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders announced on his Twitter account that he has agreed to terms on a three-year contract.
The contract has a total base value of roughly $2 million and includes base salaries of $320,000, $405,000 and $490,000 as well as an undisclosed signing bonus.
"It's official!!!!!!!! Ya boy is a Pittsburgh Steeler!!!" Sanders wrote. "Signed-seeled the re deal. Can't wait to earn every cent plus more!!!!I"
As the 19th pick of the third round, Sanders was sandwiched between four-year deals for Houston Texans defensive tackle Earl Mitchell ($788,500 signing bonus) and Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Corey Peters ($767,000 signing bonus).
So, it's not a surprise that his contract has been finalized.
A first-team All-Conference USA selection last season, Sanders registered 98 receptions for 1,339 yards and seven touchdowns.
