Rhodes scholar agrees to futures contract with Pittsburgh. Terry McCormick
Myron Rolle is getting another chance to make it in the NFL, announcing via his Twitter account that he has signed a futures contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Rolle, a safety from Florida State who did not play his final year of college football in order to travel to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, was a sixth-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2010 and spent all of that season on the team's practice squad.
He came to camp with Tennessee this past season, but was released and did not play at all in 2011.
