The Pittsburgh Steelers added some depth, signing veteran offensive tackle D’Anthony Batiste to a one-year contract.
He started 10 games last season for the Arizona Cardinals.
Batiste is a 31-year-old 37-game veteran who has started 14 games.
He has previous stints with the Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos.
He went undrafted out of Louisiana-Lafayette and once played for the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings in the Arena Football League developmental league and the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League.
Rookie offensive guard Nik Embernate was waived injured with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
