Steelers sign second-rounder Stephon Tuitt

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed second-round defensive end Stephon Tuitt to a four-year contract.

Tuitt is a 6-foot-5, 303-pounder from Notre Dame.

He recorded 127 career tackles, 21 1/2 sacks, 25 tackles for losses and 27 quarterback presures.

He forced four fumbles, returning a fumble 77 yards for a touchdown.

He received the Notre Dame Moose Krause Lineman of the Year and was on the watch lists for the Maxwell Award and Bednarik Award.
