The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the signing of veteran tight end Leonard Pope to a one-year contract.
Pope has spent the past four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and prior to that spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, who drafted him in 2006.
Pope, primarily a blocking tight end, caught a career-high 24 passes for the Chiefs last season.
