The Pittsburgh Steelers have designed outside linebacker Jason Worilds as their transition player.
Worilds gets a one-year, $9.754 million tender, lower than the $11.455 million franchise tender for outside linebackers.
Worilds emerged as a valuable pass rusher last season, registering eight sacks.
The Steelers have the right to match any offer sheet from another team.
