Second-round pick from Ohio State comes to terms. Terry McCormick
Pittsburgh Steelers second-round pick Mike Adams has agreed to his rookie contract, says Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
In accordance with the CBA, the deal is for four years.
Reports were that Adams, the Ohio State tackle who failed a drug test at the NFL Combine, sought out the Steelers who had removed him from their draft board. After meeting with team officials, he convinced them he was worth another look, and Pittsburgh selected him in the second round to make him part of a rebuilt offensive line with the Steelers.
