Two veteran players won't be ready for Friday's first training camp practice with the Carolina Panthers, per Steve Reed of the Associated Press.

Running back Jonathan Stewart and linebacker Jon Beason are both day-to-day. Stewart has been bothered by ankle problem, while Beason is nursing a knee injury.

In other news regarding Beason, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports that the linebacker has restructured his contract just prior to reporting to camp.
