Fifteen teams work out quarterback Aaron Wilson
Fifteen NFL teams went to the University of Delaware this week to work out quarterback Pat Devlin as well as defensive backs Anthony Walters and Anthony Bratton.
In particular, Walters and Bratton had strong workouts.
The Colonial Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Walters ran a 4.50 in the 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds 19 times.
The 5-foot-11 cornerback-safety posted a 36 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 10-6 broad jump.
Per a source, Walters is set to visit an NFC team on April 7 and April 8 and has been requested to work out for NFL teams on April 6 at Villanova in his hometown.
Walters played in the NFL Players Association Texas vs. the Nation game.
He finished with 41 tackles and four interceptions last season, picking off a dozen passes for his career.
Meanwhile, Bratton, an all-conference strong safety, ran 4.46 and 4.50 with a 37-inch vertical leap and a 10-6 broad jump with an 11.32 60-yard shuttle, a 6.70 three-cone drill, a 4.09 short shuttle and bench pressed 225 pounds 15 times.
Bratton recorded 66 tackles last season with two interceptions, two forced fumbles and eight pass deflections.
Devlin's Pro Day was attended by Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese and New York Jets assistant coach Matt Cavanaugh.
A Penn State transfer, Devlin is projected as a middle-round draft target.
He passed for 3,032 yards, 22 touchdowns and three interceptions last season.
In two seasons at Delaware, Devlin passed for 5,696 yards, 38 touchdowns and won 18 games.
Other teams that attended the workout included: the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions.
By all accounts, Devlin performed well during his campus workout and drew solid marks from NFL personnel.
