Veteran offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb remained in the NFC North after being claimed by the Minnesota Vikings off waivers from the Chicago Bears.
Webb struggled with penalties in Chicago and was once bumped and chastised during a game last season by quarterback Jay Cutler.
Webb could operate as a swing tackle in Minnesota on the left and right sides.
He started every game last season in Chicago.
Webb will back up Matt Kalil and Phil Loadholt.
His arrival led to Troy Kropog being released.
The Vikings placed cornerback Bobby Felder and defensive end D'Aundre Reed on injured reserve after they were waived-injured and cleared waivers.
The Vikings signed seven players to the practice squad: running back Joe Banyard, guard Travis Bond, defensive tackle Everett Dawkins, tight end Chase Ford, offensive tackle Kevin Murphy and wide receivers Rodney Smith and Adam Thielen.
