The Tim Tebow trade to the New York Jets is back on, says NFL.com.
Tebow was dealt to the Jets as the same deal completed in the afternoon was back on, with Tebow and a seventh-round pick going to New York in exchange for a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick. The holdup in the trade was which club was to be responsible for $5 million that was to be advanced to Tebow, but that apparently has been resolved.
Tebow was given the opportunity to head home to Jacksonville and play for the Jaguars, but instead chose to go through with the deal to the Jets, where he joins Mark Sanchez, Drew Stanton and Greg McElroy as quarterbacks on the roster.
