John Fox announced Monday that Tim Tebow will be Denver's starting quarterback this week when the Broncos face the rival Oakland Raiders.
Tebow struggled against the Detroit Lions Sunday in a 45-10 loss, completing just 18 of 39 passes for 172 yards and a score. He also had a fumble and an interception returned for touchdowns in the game.
But after Fox was believed to potentially be wavering on starting Tebow again this week, he has decided to give him another try. Denver is 1-1 since Tebow was named the starting quarterback..
"He's a young quarterback, we're getting to know him better and he's getting to know the offense, with each one of those snaps," Fox said via the Denver Post. "I think at the end of the day, we have to see if he can improve and get better in the passing game."
