The Seattle Seahawks are taking the plunge.
After putting free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens through a private workout today, the club has moved to sign the controversial playmaker. According to Jay Glazer of Fox, Owens has agreed to a one-year deal with the team.
Owens joins newly signed Braylon Edwards on what is a makeshift receiving crew. The Seahawks had Antonio Bryant in and clearly they are looking for a little spark. Owens put up solid numbers in Cincinnati in 2010 but was out of the NFL last season. We’ll see what Pete Carroll and his staff have gotten themselves into.
