Ex-advisor gives deposition in QB's defaulted lockout loan. Terry McCormick
Vince Young wanted to take out the lockout loan he defaulted on because he wanted to throw himself a $300,000 birthday party, according to sworn testimony from his former advisor, the Associated Press reported.
Ronnie Peoples said under oath in a deposition that was videotaped last month that he reached out to Pro Player Funding LLC about a loan after being told that VY had paid for the party and was apparently running low on money.
Young is challenging the validity of a $1.7 million judgment against him after he defaulted on the loan taken out in 2011. Young was served with papers while he was in camp with the Buffalo Bills.
