Nose tackle battling disc problem, will miss some time. Terry McCormick
The Houston Texans will be without nose tackle Shaun Cody, who suffered a back injury in a preseason game against Carolina on Saturday, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Cody has a disc issue in his back, according to Texans coach Gary Kubiak and could be out for a while as he recuperates.
“He’s got a disc issue,” coach Gary Kubiak said Sunday. “We’re still in an evaluation process. He received an epidural (for pain relief) today, and we’re going to see how he reacts to that.
“I think it’s going to be a couple days before we know exactly what we’re looking at, but obviously, he’s going to miss some time this week.”
