The Houston Texans have hired former Miami Dolphins assistant general manager Brian Gaine as director of pro scouting, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Gaine left the Dolphins after being passed over for the general manager job that went to Dennis Hickey.
His leaving was characterized as a mutual choice.
The Texans fired pro personnel director Brian Gardner and pro scout Kevin Murphy after last season.
Per the report, the Texans have promoted Larry Wright to assistant pro personnel director and hired scout Daron Roberts
