The Houston Texans have agreed to terms on a four-year deal with rookie second-round running back Ben Tate, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Tate rushed for 1,362 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
For his career, he gained 3,321 rushing yards to rank fifth in school history.
That places him behind Bo Jackson, Cadillac Williams, James Brooks and Joe Cribbs.
Tate is a bruising runner with 4.4 speed and a 40 1/2 inch vertical leap. He has also bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times.
