Former Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein tells Fox 26 in Houston that he did not sign with the Texas following his tryout during the team's rookie mini-camp.
"No, I did not sign," Klein said. "I think they're working through some things.
"I feel very good that I put my best foot forward and just so grateful they gave me the opportunity."
Klein finished third in the 2012 Heisman Trophy balloting, but has been told by some that he needs to find another position other than quarterback at the NFL level, something Klein has been reluctant to try thus far.
