Linebacker who replaced Cushing now shelved with ankle injury. Terry McCormick
The Houston Texans have placed linebacker Tim Dobbins on injured reserve with an ankle injury, says Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle.
Dobbins, one of the Texans' key special teams players, had seen more action on defense after Brian Cushing was lost for the season. To replace Dobbins on the 53-man roster, the Texans elevated Cameron Collins from their practice squad.
