Former Jaguar, Ram hoping to catch on in Houston. Terry McCormick
Veteran wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker will get an audition with the Houston Texans, according to ESPN.com.
Sims-Walker was once the top target at wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars, with 63 receptions in 2009. He began last season with the St. Louis Rams, was released and hooked on with the Jaguars for a second tour of duty. He had just 12 catches in 2011 in six games.
The Texans are in need of some help at receiver, having lost Jacoby Jones and with Andre Johnson temporarily out after having his knee scoped.
