The ice between the Houston Texans and disgruntled star wide receiver Andre Johnson is beginning to thaw.

Johnson has been absent from the Texans this offseason and expressed disapproval about the direction of the team.

Now, his agent, Kennard McGuire is talking with the Texans and Johnson was reportedly in the Texans' facility on Monday.

“I am not refuting, confirming or denying any reports or stories,” McGuire told the Houston Chronicle. “Per the collective bargaining agreement, there’s a period in which veteran players are not allowed to participate or be in their team’s facilities and that period is as such. While I am personally in contact with the Texans organization, those conversations will remain between myself, the organization and Andre Johnson.”

It's regarded as a positive sign that Johnson may eventually report to training camp. Practice starts Saturday.
