Cornerback Stanford Routt will be among those trying out for a spot on the Houston Texans today, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Routt was released earlier this season by the Kansas City Chiefs after signing there as a free agent in the off-season.
The Texans are hurting at cornerback, having lost Brice McCain to a broken foot and having Jonathan Joseph and Alan Ball battling injuries as well.
UPDATE: John McClain of the Chronicle reports that Routt will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers once he wraps up his tryout with the Texans.
