The Houston Texas tried out former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Demetrius Williams, former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Reggie Brown and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round wide receiver Dexter Jackson, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
Williams has also tried out for the St. Louis Rams and the Washington Redskins since being cut by the Ravens.
The Texans also auditioned former Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan, former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jarrett Brown and wide receiver Derek Hagan.
Hagan is a former Miami Dolphins third-round draft pick from Arizona State who also had a stint with the New York Giants.
A former West Virginia standout, Brown has also tried out for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants since being cut by San Francisco when they signed former Ravens quarterback Troy Smith and placed quarterback Nate Davis on the practice squad.
Jackson tried out for the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this season.
A former Appalachian State player, Jackson has excellent speed.
