At some point during the 95-minute running time of “500 Days of Summer,” Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will ride in an elevator. The audio from his headphones will spill over into the car. She will say how much she loves the Smiths. Then she will sing a verse from “There is a Light That Never Goes Out.” Then she will exit the elevator.
This will be the best scene you see in a movie all year.

Zooey Deschanel is proof that God wants us to go to the movies. Really, how else can you explain her ascent? In an industry of babes, bitches, and princesses, she’s a girl. Girl. You don’t hear that much nowadays, unless you happen to live inside a Barry Levinson movie. That’s a shame. We need girls who are girls, who sing Smiths' songs, and throw left hooks and read Ray Carver. Girls, in short, like this girl.
SHE remindes me of a younger HOTTTTER Britney Murrfey, but so much darker & HOTTTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! She's a stunner in that pic. My pants just got tighter.
