Great point on the Falcons diversifying their offense.
The addition of Tony G allows them a mismatch for every possible situation. When they get into a range of the field the team feels comfortable in the yardage(past their own 40) they spread it out more and get more speed reps for Norwood and all the screens and pass plays work their favor more. Turner is more of a decoy for stretches of the game.
They seem to make it a different span of the game to focus Turner. The start vs. soft teams, use him. Otherwise work him into the four minute mark to control how a particular half of football ends. They seem to try and plan it, but also run it on the go. He still gives them a great closer, how you close drives and games can be your statement.
The run game was a key in the West shootout, Denver commands balance right now with their situational running.
San Diego was not running it effectively later, Rivers held the ball too long. Denver started sitting routes and jumped on the Bolts when they tried to settle into a play selection for the passer. The blitz finally found its mark, and they were passing blitzes, even on early downs. The Broncs knew what was coming, you cannot leave what is important to a plan to an extent the other teams can plan for only one item.
