Vivian Girls is a band. It is made up of three girls. None of them are named Vivian. This confuses the people who are typically confused by such things. Their music doesn’t help—it’s not cute, it’s not stilted, it doesn’t ride coattails. It’s just the best punk rock being recorded in America today, courtesy of three cute girls from Brooklyn. None of whom are named Vivian.
