Brad Smith will be third quarterback for Bills. Terry McCormick
Buffalo Bills coach Chan Gailey said that the battle between incumbent Tyler Thigpen and newcomer Vince Young for the No. 2 quarterback spot could come down to the loser of that competition being released.
Gailey told the team's website that utility man Brad Smith will probably be the Bills third quarterback with Ryan Fitzpatrick the starter. That leaves Thigpen and Young fighting for one spot, the No. 2 QB job.
Thus far, Thigpen has been getting most of the reps with the second unit with Young rotating in as well.
