In a battle for his roster spot, New England Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow made a solid case with a good performance against the New York Giants.
During a 28-20 win, Tebow completed 6 of 11 passes for two touchdowns and one interception. Although sacked four times, he still rushed for 30 yards on six carries.
Tebow threw a 52-yard touchdown pass to Quentim Sims.
On his overthrown pass intended for Aaron Dobson, Tebow was intercepted by cornerback Trumaine McBride.
The Patriots usually retain just two quarterbacks on the roster during the regular season: Tom Brady and backup Ryan Mallett.
Perhaps the Patriots have plans for Tebow beyond the preseason.
We'll find out soon enough as NFL teams have until Saturday night to get their rosters down to the NFL limit of 53 players.
