Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak will meet with free agent quarterback Peyton Manning within the next three days, according to TitanInsider.
The location and exact time of the meeting were not disclosed, but the strong possibility exists that a meeting could take place in Houston in order for owner Bud Adams to be present. Adams, in his words Sunday to the Tennessean, sounds prepared to pay Manning whatever is necessary to join the Titans.
Manning, of course, enjoyed a legendary career at the University of Tennessee before being the No. 1 overall pick in the 1998 draft by the Indianapolis Colts where he put together a Hall of Fame type career.
The Titans aren't the only new entrant into the Manning derby, as ESPN reports that Manning is also scheduled to meet with new Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin at an undisclosed location as well.
