Tennessee Titans rookie linebacker Jonathan Willard saved a family from a burning vehicle on Tuesday as he was driving to his first NFL training camp.

“I saw this car in front of me, and it had all kinds of black smoke coming out of it,” Willard told Tuesday evening. “I tried to speed up and get up next to the car to let them know the car was on fire.”

Willard, an undrafted free agent from Clemson, pulled over and with help from another motorist helped to pull the woman driving, her three children and the family dog out of the vehicle to safety.
