Veteran defensive end John Abraham is visiting with the Tennessee Titans today and Friday.
Abraham, who turns 35 on Monday, would be a piece of the defensive puzzle the Titans do not yet have, a sack specialists. Last season, he had 10 sacks for the Atlanta Falcons and has 32.5 sacks over the past three years.
Abraham visited Tennessee as a free agent last year, but wound up re-signing with the Falcons. Some Titans defensive coaches still like Abraham and believe he can be a good fit in a defensive scheme being rebuilt by Gregg Williams.
The Titans picked only one defensive end in the draft, grabbing Lavar Edwards of LSU in the fifth round. Last year, starters Derrick Morgan (6.5 sacks) and Kamerion Wimbley (6 sacks) played far too many snaps and wore down as the season went on.
