The Tennessee Titans aren't letting their contract dispute with star running back Chris Johnson get contentious.

Johnson is skipping offseason activities and has said he wants to be the highest paid offensive player in the game.

"He invited me to participate in his football camp," Titans coach Jeff Fisher quipped. "I told him I'd like him to participate in mine."

All joking aside, Fisher wants Johnson to report to the team's June minicamp.

"I would assume that there will probably be a sit-down meeting between both sides between now and then and we'll see what happens," Fisher said. "I think it makes sense to get everybody together and I think that's what we'll push for. There is no purpose, no set agenda right now.

"But it would make sense to get together and try to sort things out. ... We clearly have an issue and we're going to try to get it resolved."

Johnson has three years left on his original rookie deal, and no new deal is in the works.

Despite Johnson rushing for 2,006 yards last season, it will be difficult to work something out because of the 30-percent rule under the collective bargaining agreement.
