Titans looking to fill holes in free agency

The Tennessee Titans have plenty of holes to fill, and they may be willing abandon their normal deliberate approach to free agency.

Per TitanInsider, the Titans are evaluating, considering and speaking to the represenatives for a number of players who are about to hit the market on the defensive line, at tight end and on the offensive line.

On the defensive line, the Titans are pondering the pursuit of ends Osi Umenyiora, John Abraham, Michael Bennett and Dwight Freeney and tackle Ricky Jean-Francois.

Offensively, with Jared Cook likely headed out the door, the Titans are considering a pair of New Yorkers - Dustin Keller of the Jets and Martellus Bennett of the Giants.

The Titans are also desperate to upgrade their offensive line, and are targeting guard Andy Levitre of the Buffalo Bills as a possibility.

Of course, targeting and considering those players are two completely different things, but Tennessee is certainly taking on a much more aggressive approach to free agency in 2013 with the jobs of the coaching staff and front office tied to the need to show improvement on the field.
