Justin Hunter learned the hard way about not knowing which route to run during Saturday's preseason game against Green Bay.
During an ensuing film session, coach Ken Whisenhunt pointed out the error to Hunter.
“I didn't convert a route and do what I was supposed to do, and he called me out in the meeting and said, 'Justin, you can be a great player, but after that play, you look like 'Just Another Guy,'” Hunter told 247Sports.com affilliate Titans Insider.
And as a result, Hunter is now wearing a new nameplate on his practice jersey — J A G — courtesy of receivers coach Shawn Jefferson.
You can bet that Hunter will do what he cans to get "Hunter" back over his number. That's quite the motivating tactic from the Whiz.
Hunter has been lauded all offseason by Titans teammates and coaches. Maybe this reminds Hunter to stay on top of his game throughout the remainder of the preseason.
