The Tennessee Titans are still talking with representatives for free agent defensive end John Abraham and a deal could come as soon as this week, if things progress, reports TitanInsider.
Abraham, who turns 35 today, had 10 sacks last year for the Atlanta Falcons, far and away more than anyone on the Titans' roster, as Tennessee finished with 39 sacks as a team.
Abraham had tweeted over the weekend hinting at retiring, but his agent said that was not the case.
Now, it looks as if the veteran pass rusher could soon have a new NFL home, if talks progress, although another league source indicated that no deal is yet imminent between the club and Abraham.
