Kenny Britt seems to be sinking further into the doghouse for the Tennessee Titans after catching just one of six passes thrown his way in Sunday's 26-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Britt, who was out last week with sore ribs and a sore neck, has just six receptions on the season, and it appears that offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains is getting frustrated with the 2009 first-round pick.
“We're gonna have to reassess everything at this point. We'll evaluate after we watch the tape,” Loggains said via TitanInsider. “Obviously, I'm not gonna hide anything. He had probably three drops in the game. The one that bothered me most was when it was 17-13, and you've got third and 2, and you've got to make that play. We dropped the ball, and it puts you in a tough spot. We were moving the football. We had kind of flipped the field again, and that hurt us.”
Britt was already relegated to the third receiver role for much of the day, as Nate Washington and Kendall Wright played mostly in the two receiver sets. Now, Britt could be in danger of falling even farther down the depth chart.
