New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady isn't working out with his teammates at the team's offseason conditioning program.

According to the Boston Herald, Brady is in Los Angeles with his wife, Gisele Bundchen, and kids. And the Brady family's new dog.

Brady is known for his dedication to his workout regiment, but is choosing to work out on his own now that he's a family man.

Brady used to win the parking space given to the player that had the best attendance for workouts in Foxboro, Mass.

“I’m quite sure when he gets in, he’ll get us all on the same page, and we’ll get together and we’ll start throwing together.” wide receiver David Patten said.

At this point, it doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about.

When Brady needs to be in New England, he'll be there.

Tommy is nothing but dedicated. In this case, while dedicating himself to his family, trust you me he is preparing to bring it this season. Nothin but a warrior is Tom Brady. GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!

This is bad news for the Patriots. It does indeed show the importance of this off season training
workouts to Tom Brady. He has always led by example in the past. One of the reasons
I have so much respect for him. However, even though this voluntary, he should be there.
Two seasons ago Tom Brady did not participate and was clearly stiff at his first game.
Right until he got hit and was taken out for the season. Perhaps if he would have been
more active during training, he would have been more pliable when he took his hit that injured him so severely.

You really have no idea what you're talking about. It doesn't matter how "pliable" you are, when your knee gets hit and the force is enough to make it go in a direction it's not supposed to you're going to get hurt. If you had respect for him, you'd respect that he's made a decision to be with his family and you'd trust he would take care of his football responsibilities.

If Brady's house doesn't include a gym and a room for watching film, I'd be stunned. The time he would have spent in New England getting back and forth to Foxborough? Now he can use it breaking down film. And... no ice in LA to slip on and hurt himself.

Nice to know the birth of his child (second?) wasn't just another event in Brady's life but a serious deal for him. Good to know that he has his priorities straight.

Preface this with the fact that I am Pats season ticket holder for 17 years, and have not missed a single game in that time, as well as being a HUGE Brady fan.

He should still be at the workouts, I think it is critical for a team that had an obvious lack of leadership last year. He was pretty vocal about thier not being enough accountability, and for that alone he should be at the workouts.

Its also sets a pretty negative tone to say its okay for him to miss it to be with family, when Id there are clearly many other temamates there who are also fathers.

4 hours a day on site is not really taking too much time away from his kids
