Tommie Smith named Titans president, CEO

The Tennessee Titans released a statement from the late Bud Adams' family that Tommie Smith, Adams' son-in-law will take over as team president and CEO.

In addition to Smith vaulting to the top of the team hierarchy, his wife Susie Adams Smith and her sister Amy Adams Hunt will serve as co-chairpersons of the club's board of directors.

Adams' grandson, 28-year-old Kenneth Adams IV, who has worked in the organization since 2006, joins the team"s board of directors as well.
