Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez caught a pass in his 200th consecutive game.
However, he'd probably trade any receiving success he's had this season for a better record. The Falcons lost 30-28 due to a game-winning field goal from Jets kicker Nick Folk on Monday night.
Only one NFL player has previously achieved the feat of catching a pass in 200 straight games. That was former 49ers receiver Jerry Rice, who caught a pass in 274 consecutive games.
It's safe to say Gonzalez won't reach Rice's mark, considering this is likely the final season of his career. But that doesn't take anything away from the impressive milestone Gonzalez reached.
